SUBDIVISION is a research platform for exploration and investigation of organic morphologies juxtaposed between real and digital space. The platform works as a transit laboratory of architecture and design influenced by latest cultural, natural and technological environment. It is studying form and structure of patterns, geometries, mutations and phenomenons found across landscapes of biodiverse ecosystems as well as the application of these systems in biomimicry and morphoecological design. SUB-D has been formed as collaboration between Adam Vukmanov and Julia Koerner - two architects currently based in London. They were engaged in a research project which was a part of MAK Schindler residency program in Mackey apartments, Los Angeles.
