Xi'an World Horticultural Fair 2011. Competition Winners

Plasma Studio won First Prize in the competition for the International Horticultural Fair 2011 in Xi'an, China.

The project -known as Flowing Gardens- comprises of the redevelopment of a large area between the airport and the ancient city centre of Xi'an.

Plasma Studio proposes three distinct buildings of 15 000 square meters in total, within a 37 hectare proactive and sustainable landscape.

The next stages of development will take place during the next months with the collaboration between Plasma Studio (Architecture) and Groundlab Collective (Landscape Urbanism).

清逸园给西安城市引入了一个永恒的时间轴。利用场地上的湖水和汇入它的河水，在污水生成的同时，水体通过栽植的低维护的植物群得到循环，从而建立一个整合良好的园艺学技术体系。在展览期结束之后，这些服务型的植物保留下来，以低技术的方式进行自我可持续发展。
